Accommodation Packages of Care
Accommodation Packages of Care is an individualised care support service. WALSHtrust staff work collaboratively with clients to identify skills they would like to develop or learn, and also encourage greater interdependence, social connection and awareness of health and wellbeing.
Accommodation Packages of Care is a bridge, or transition, between residential support and living independently. The main difference, compared with other similar services, is that staff are not based on site and consumers enter a tenancy (housing) agreement, whereby they are responsible for the rent. They also develop greater responsibility for their daily living.
Clients are referred by local co-ordination services and their clinical support team.
